Dr. Ethan Weckstein is a psychiatrist at Eating Recovery Center in Chicago, where he specializes in treating patients with eating disorders, particularly those struggling with binge-related disorders. He provides compassionate, weight-inclusive care within the center’s partial hospitalization and residential programs, focusing on creating a supportive environment for patients to heal both mentally and physically. Dr. Weckstein is deeply committed to combating the stigma often associated with weight and believes in empowering individuals to achieve recovery without judgment or shame.

Dr. Weckstein earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated with honors. He then completed his psychiatry residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where he received multiple awards for clinical excellence, including the American Osteopathic Foundation’s Outstanding Resident of the Year Award in Addiction Medicine.
