Biography

Natalie is intentionally trained in a weight-neutral style, and she offers many modifications to make Barre accessible for more bodies. She welcomes you to come as you are to her Body Positive Barre classes, and to find joy in the low-impact, strength building movement that Barre offers. She understands what challenges people in fat bodies face in traditional fitness spaces, and she's so excited to provide an accessible Barre group fitness class.

Natalie has worked out in countless gyms and taken almost every fitness class you can think of, but she has often felt "behind" in class or embarrassed to not be moving at the same pace as the instructor or others in class. When she began focusing more on how movement made my body feel instead of worrying about if she was being impressive enough to her instructor, she finally felt a sense of joy in her movement and began to enjoy moving her body more. She wants to create that space for you.

She is a lover of swimming in the many natural spring waters in Central Texas, early morning long walks, anything cat related, Animal Crossing, and iced coffee. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne with a B.S. in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a focus on the Food Industry and Business.
