Allison Santacroce, PA-C

Allison M. Santacroce is a Physician Assistant working at our Denver, Colorado location. She holds a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Allen College, as well as an Associate Degree in Nursing from Purdue University Global. With a strong foundation in psychiatric care, Allison has extensive experience managing a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and bipolar disorder. She has developed a comprehensive skill set in patient assessment, diagnostic testing, medication management, and therapeutic interventions through both her clinical training and hands-on practice.

In her clinical rotations, Allison has demonstrated her ability to perform psychiatric interviews, assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create evidence-based care plans. Notable experiences include working with UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she managed psychiatric care for patients across the lifespan and collaborated with social workers and nursing staff. Additionally, she completed a rotation at Pathways Behavioral Services in Waverly, Iowa, where she assessed patients in a detox clinic and developed treatment plans to support long-term recovery.

Before pursuing her advanced nursing education, Allison worked as a Registered Nurse at UnityPoint Health St. Luke's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where she gained valuable experience in managing withdrawal symptoms, administering medications, and providing patient education. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is a licensed Registered Nurse in Iowa. Outside of her professional work, Allison is passionate about volunteering and has supported both the Iowa Raptor Center and Allen Hospital, further enhancing her commitment to helping others.
