Pamela N. Ihenachor-Lefor, DMSc, MMSc, PA-C, FAAPA, is a dedicated Physician Assistant currently practicing at our Downtown Chicago, where she provides specialized care to individuals facing mental health and behavioral health challenges. With a focus on psychiatry, Pamela is committed to delivering patient-centered care that improves outcomes and supports mental well-being. She combines her clinical expertise with a compassionate approach to help patients through complex health issues.

In addition to her clinical work, Pamela is an Assistant Professor at Chamberlain University, where she leads courses in Psychiatry, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Transition to Clinical Practice for the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program. Her academic background includes a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) from the University of Lynchburg, where she graduated summa cum laude, and a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) from St. Francis University. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers and shaping the future of the PA profession.

Pamela's extensive clinical experience includes roles at the Jesse Brown Veterans Administration Medical Center, where she worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, anesthesiology, and internal medicine. Her clinical training spans multiple specialties, including surgery, pediatrics, and psychiatry, providing her with a broad skill set in managing diverse medical conditions. Board-certified by the NCCPA and licensed in Illinois, Pamela is also a Fellow of the American Association of Physician Assistants (FAAPA) and an active member of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA).
